My Goal Timeline

2027

• Complete internship
• Finish senior project
• Update this current website to refine it with my modern skill, adding a new page showcasing the difference (downloadable code of the old website)
• Either apply for more internships or these entry-level roles:
  • Front-End Developer
  • Junior Full Stack Developer
  • UX/UI Web Developer

2026

• Take Script Programing to learn how to maniplate user authentication, content management, etc.
• Start looking for internships
• Begin senior project, most likely focused on some sort of web site to display my large growth of skill since this portfolio website
• Refine/learn any additional programming skills in Python, Linux, HTML, CSS, and JS and begin learning a new JavaScript framework like Vue.js
• Finish any additional necessary classes (electives), besides my final courses

2025

• Began first official web development class
• Started building portfolio website
• Began focus on learning HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and combining each in intuitive ways
• Portfolio includes resume, goals, links, multiple pages, images, accessibility support and early projects, etc.
• Plan to take advanced web development and IS classes
• Plan to develop side projects for portfolio
• Begin certification work (e.g., Google, freeCodeCamp)
• Continue growing prior skills such as Python, and learn new ones (Disaster Recovery course)

2024

• Fully transitioned into Information Systems degree path
• Completed IS and programming foundation courses:
  • IS-1150 – Principles of Information Systems
  • NET-1200 – Network Design I (Cisco, Packet Tracer, networking introduction and management)
  • CS-1250 – Problem Solving for Programmers (programming basics)
  • CS-1300 – Computer Science I (Python)
  • CYS-1100 – Introduction to Cybersecurity (Linux, and Operating System configuration)
  • BA-2800 – E-Commerce
• Completed IIT-2000 Pre-Internship Seminar
• No web development coursework yet

2023-2020

• Decided to focus on programming for a Full-Stack Web Developer role
• Graduated with B.S. in Psychology (Magna Cum Laude, 3.74 GPA), after a year long capstone research project
• Started Information Systems degree (late 2023)
• Final Year of my leadership in the Psychology Club (2020-2024)
• Final involvements with suicide prevention seminars, and police crisis training scenarios through Parkview Behavioral
• Started B.S. Psychology in October 2020
• Graduated from Early College at Wayne High School with a Technical Certificate of Business
